this card fits this weeks color combo, sketch and way to use it challenges. The card itself is pretty straight forward but I did something a little different with the background panel. It's a bit hard to tell in the pic but IRL it's pretty cool. I started with a VV square and ran it through my CB folder which had been inked with both versamark and grey ink. Once it came out, I sprinkled on some heat and stick powder and heat set it. After that I put on some clear glitter and then again heat set that. Basicaly the grey part of the paper is shimmery and the raised vanilla part is still plain paper.
The front panel was stamped with the branch from Eastern Blooms in grey, the flowers are from the Season of Friendship set and punched out with a small flower punch, and then the sentiment is from the So Many Sayings
Thanks for looking! I hope you had a great Turkey Day!

Great technique on your cuttled panel - bet it looks great IRL - can't really see the shimmer on the pic - love the Asian feel to this and your popped up flowers!

I noticed this card immediately and then read your description and I'm really impressed! You've produced an amazing piece of specialty paper and then designed a beautiful card around it. A triple home run on the challenges!
