I was so sad when SU! reitred this fabulous stamp set. It is easy to use, and fairly unique. I knew it was perfect for Janet when she asked for a star of Bethlehem for her Christmas cards this year.
I wanted to keep it simple and economical, as I was making 20 of these (as well as another set of 20) for her. So, instead of using a colored card base and layering the image panel on that, I opted for Confetti White, which is quite sturdy. The City of David image is embossed directly onto the card front. I sponged So Saffron and Night of Navy inks to create the night sky. Mary and Joseph (and trusty steed) ride into town on a Coluzzled So Saffron oval, sponged with Night of Navy to give a shadowed look.
I used the full greeting on the inside, and added the Mary/Joseph image to the front of each envelope as well.
