Hello, I made this for Faith's (Markie's mom) Tuesday chat challenge on the Flourishes forum.
We were to use a stamp no bigger than 2"x2"! Well I used the small poinsetta stamp in the Poinsetta & boxwood set. Because it was so small, I stamped it 3 times & overlapped it. The overall measurement is less than 2"x2".
The card base is bravo burgundy, with a layer of BG figgy pudding dp.
I used my new nesties label #2 dies to make the center pieces cut from old olive & baja breeze. I also embossed these, with the d'vine & swiss dot EF.
I sponged all the edges. The sentiment was stamped & punched with a tag punch, it's popped up.
The flowers were stamped on watercolour paper. I coloured them with a marker & waterbrush. Then I covered then with a burgundy metallic gelly roll & waterbrush. The centers are liquid pearl, I'm not too thrilled with them!
I finished it off with dbl sided satin & a corsage pin with beads to match!

Great color combo and i think the poinsettias are very pretty with their sparkle and liquid pearl centers! Love how you sponged the edges of the dp too!

Oh, Laurie, this is so so pretty. I love the sponging on the Figgy DP, and the ribbon is to die for! The addition of the corsage pin adds a little glamour.
