WOW! This is amazing. I give the applause to the wonderful ladies that come up with these great ideas and challenges for people like me. I made this card today instead of going on my walk. I couldn't wait to play with the challenge. I followed the tutorial as indicated. For the inside: I stamped snowflakes from Bundle Up and the little dots from A Christmas Wish on the inside of the card. I picked up these snowflake alphabet stamps from Walmart and thought they would go great with this. I used my circle punch, MS snowflake punch, added a rhinestone, and attached using a little tacky tape. For the outside. The bliss blue c/s is mounted onto silver metallic and bravo burgundy c/s. I also cut out a piece of Let it Snow dp from Sandylion and used my CB snowflakes folder. I attached it to the blue c/s. After seeing some ornaments with this challenge, I decided to make one too. I used the Circle Medallion with the decorative corner punch on 2 circles for the burgundy c/s. I used my CM circle cutter and stamped the snowman with black ink onto white c/s. I colored the snowman with Prismacolor pencils. I used the versamark pen for the face/body and added clear embossing powder with my heat gun. I also added a small amount of 2-way glue, diamond dust for the ground, and liquid applique to outline the snow. I have mini glue dots for the sandwich in between to make it pop out alittle. I used my MS snowflake punch for the snowflakes (4 blue/4 silver). I used spray adhesive, added diamond dust, and let dry. I laid the snowflakes out covering the heart from my decorative corner punch. I added mini rhinestones from Michaels $1 bin for the outer edge of the medallion. I punched a small hole near the top of the medallion, added an eyelet, and silver cording. I tied a bow using metallic ribbon. I needed something to secure the ornament to the gift card front, so I used a small piece of velcro on the back of the ornament and the top part of the card. I added satin ribbon to tie on the end. It it held on with tacky tape on the base of the card in the back. I really like how this came together with using 2 challenges. My husband even likes this. I happen to have a real gift card to go in here. I definitely will be making more of these. Thanks for looking and have a great night!
