Such a very cool challenge today. It came at just the best time too. You see, tomorrow is my anniversary. We usually have a family day where my DH gives us each a hand picked store bought card and a gift. I give my DH a tie and the kids cash! LOL Plus, since I have been making cards, I started giving each a special hand made one. So, today's TLC will be the perfect card to stick some cash in. Thanks Lynn!........details.......
The dp I used was one sided so I doubled it then proceeded with the instructions. Which, I might add, I was able to follow this time. Yeah!.......last Monday put me in a tizzy!
Stamped and clear eb my snowman. Then I paper pieced him using various pictures from a magazine. Cut him out and put lliquid applique on his hat for snow.
Cut out two different sized ovals. The larger one was sponged with cranberry and black, then edges were doodled. I stamped the square on the edges of the smaller oval, then sponged with tea dye. Glued these two together then put on my card front, popping up the snowman on top of that.
I made a two layer oval inside and wrote "For You" and then drew an arrow pointing where the cash will be, as is my darling kids can't sniff out money! LOL Now I have one more to make. My DH's card will not be a pop up gift card. Thank goodness awhile back the TLC was to use a picture on a card, which I did. It was of his flowering cactus plant with a Mexican pot stamped next to it. Hope he likes it and his tie!
That's it for this one. Hope you like it!......TFL :0)

I think this one is precious, Cathy! And I love the orange behind that snowkid. The striped DP reminded me of peppersticks at Christmas. We would always have King Leo in the big round tins...loved it then and adore it still, especially the special ice cream. Now look what you've gone and done...made me hungry for candy!
I loved your story about your anniversary traditions...how charming...now I'm off to find that other card!!!
