I was determined to make at least one Christmas card this weekend, so I had another go at Beate's sketch. I still can't get it to look as good as it should, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Anyway, the base is navy card, stamped with Hero Arts Florentine Scroll in Versamark and embossed with silver EP.
The large panel is the Embossed Shimmer technique which we did for TLC185. I was in a bit of a rush putting the paint on my acrylic while I was trying to cook dinner, so it's not very well blended. I used silver acrylic paint, and plum and denim alcohol inks, and sprinkled a bit of silver glitter over while they were still wet. When it was dry I embossed it and used snowflake eyelets to attach it to some white card, and brushed the eyelets with Icicles Stickles.
I stamped Snoopy onto some white card and coloured him with H2Os, using Snow Writer for the snow. I layered him up onto purple glitter card.
I stamped the sentiment from Lots of Thoughts onto silver card with StazOn, punched it out with a circle punch and stuck it behind Snoopy. I layered a Prima, blue snowflake and white brad which I brushed with Icicles Stickles.
