Here’s my “twist” on the Treat Box, I thought it would make a cute version of a “hurricane lamp”. The full sheet of acetate from Short Cuts is perfect for making these boxes, not only is it perfectly clear but it’s thick, (thicker than any other type I’ve used) which makes it perfect for projects like this. The box is itself is really strong and can hold stuff really good. I scored all my fold lines and it just stays in place, add a little glue and there you go. I find Tombo adhesive runner works best.
AND I put a flameless tea light in it, I hope you can see how it glows. I can never get the picture to show it properly.
Visit my blog if you want to know how to make the background.
