I made this holiday card for the Mother and Daughter Creations “Week 17” Card Challenge which was to create a card with a window using acetate.
This card was actually very easy to do, once I figured out the measurements and brainstormed ways to mount it. I used the same technique (without the acetate) for a card for last weekendÂ’s Cabaret VSN and it went together in seconds!
I’ll post detailed instructions for this window as well as the menorah, which is embossed on both sides, on my blog. Basically, I used the decorative elements I cut with the Cuttlebug to make the window mullions and applied them to both sides of the acetate, so the window is “finished” on the inside of the card as well.
