We were to use pearls today.
First of all I got out some mother of pearl buttons, but they didn't work.
The purple and green papers are from and old Colossal Christmas pack. I punched the green squares and edged them in silver. Then I realised that sticking a brad through light paper would be a bit odd unless I put them all the way through the card base, so I punched out some card squares and stuck the paper ones on before adding the PEARL brads.
The snowman was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os. The sky is Navajo PEARL, and I used Liquid PEARLS for his buttons and the snow.
I added some acrylic snowflakes which I rubbed with some more Liquid Pearls just to give a bit of sheen to them. It worked, even if it doesn't show in the photo.
After writing my title I have an idea to do a lady snowman with a little pearl necklace - watch this space...if I get the time after being called into work on a much-anticipated day off.

This is adorable! I love the color combo and the super cute snowman! The pearls in the corners look great and so do the Liquid Pearls! Great challenge combo card!
