I made this card for the November VSN, “Cabaret” act hosted by Erin (Stampin'NPA).
Erin gave us the challenge of creating a card with a spinner. This was a “first time” technique for me but the tutorial made it a breeze. The hardest part of the whole thing was scrounging two pennies LOL.
This was SO much fun and one of the simplest and quickest cards I made during this entire event! I used two colors of card stock and stamped and cut all of my images.
Once I got it all laid out, there wasn’t enough room on the front of the card to put my “greeting”, which I thought MADE the whole card. (It says, “Give ‘Em the Boot”.) So I added an edge of “lace” to some white card stock, mounted the greeting, and put it inside.
The lace edge on the front was not that complicated at all to make. IÂ’ve been playing around with all of my lace punches to be able to edge rectangles and squares. Watch for a future tip and trick post on my blog. (IÂ’ll post a note here, too, after I blog-post it.)
