For the final act of the November VSN, “Cabaret”, Maren (mmbc) planned “The Encore” and challenged us to pick one of our cards or projects from an earlier challenge and make it even better. This fit right in with my plans for the door plaque I had started in an earlier challenge, and so I took this opportunity to finish it.
I added some more garden elements to each side, eyelets, and changed the original ribbon to an ivory one.
I stenciled a beautiful cluster ot mushrooms and violets for the reverse side, and as I had done before, I carefully cut them out after they were painted and attached them. Then I stenciled right on the plaque, on both sides, laying out the rest of the garden elements. I stenciled them in white (SU!Â’s Classic White) and then watercolored them.
The rest of the project took barely 25 minutes, but it made a dramatic difference!
