For this particular challenge, we needed to make a cameo card: oval shape with a darker background and a lighter embossed image. I don't typically get out my shape cutters very often, so it's good to see how different a card can look with the oval shape! I went for a green, white and black cameo. For the central image, I took some shimmer white paper and clear embossed it. Then I tried to create a marble background with sponging of various green shades and also the veining was just done freehand. As for the "faux marble paper" technique, maybe there is such a thing out there, but I just made this up on the fly, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Hope it inspires you to other works of card art!

Love that bg. I can't bvelieve you did the veining freehand?!? Wow. Super take on this challenge, and a well-deserved honor.
