I really love to create shaped cards and when I saw today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, I knew I'd definitely have to play and to create a festive Christmas stocking! I must say I was truly inspired by the scarf gallery, namely the apple spice, cinnamon spice and grass scarves. With those patterns and colors, I kept envisioning beautiful felt stockings, hanging by a warm, cozy fireplace. I combined this with this month's central theme of books in the Dirty Dozen gallery. My stocking card fits rather nicely in The Night before Christmas by Clement C. Moore, don't you think?
