This card was made for the challenge I am hosting for the November VSN - CABARET!
My challenge is to make a card that uses lacing through eyelets. In my challenge, I posted a template to make a corset card - the challenge can be viewed here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
This card didn't turn out exactly like I wanted - my craft room is turned upside down right now (I'm in the middle of an organizing project) and used what I could easily put my hands on.
The only cord or ribbon I could easily find was linen thread, so I decided to go "country" with my corset and make a glittery denim-colored corset with bright red eyelets.
The corset was stamped in Versamark with the Floral background stamp and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. The inside piece is a piece of kraft card stock cut to size.
I had lots of problems getting my eyelets to set and the paper kept tearing, but I don't think you can see that in my final product (thankfully!).
I wanted to add more details, but even I have to keep to the 45 minute time limit, so I stopped before I was done (wanted to add more embellishments like lace, or something).
Hope you have fun doing my challenge!

This is really neat. I love the color and bg. It has tooooo many eyelets for me though. "You" did a great job keeping the eyelets in line and i have too much trouble there.
I have a die cut corset but your template is really great as You can add the gift card or note inside. Thanks for sharing.
