Katherine what a great idea and title for your challenge! One of my fave after Christmas things to do is buy up little trinkets, and other found items, that are sooo cheap... then tuck them away, and turn those holiday leftovers into something fun the next year! This copper snowflake is actually an ornament from JoAnn's, and I think I got it for like a quarter last January...used faux silk technique...with leftover tissue paper from JoAnn's that I got super cheap on Black Friday (like, my FAVORITE day of the year!)...my niece and I are the same age, and we met at 6 am for the first time in our lives since we have young kids now...gotta escape while the husband are still asleep, hee!

This is amazingly beautiful, Kelly! This is one of the most beautifully executed faux silk backgrounds I've ever seen. I love how the snowflakes in your BG mirror the snowflake ornament, and the colors are wonderfully wintery. I'm so glad you played along with us!

I love the BG scalloped edge with the brads! this is a very clever card and if I send you $$$$ will you just buy doubles of everything...I'll still be sleeping
