Thanks Michelle for the fabUlous challenge and link to Beate's tutorial...I had never used this technique before, but I definitely will keep it in my bag o' tricks! Since you gave us a Garth Brooks song, I give you back someone who probably has Garth playing on her car radio, my accident waiting to happen!!!!!
My main image (Viva Las Vegas) is inked on GP white cs with Adirondack pitch black ink. I colored with Copics my spotlight and added stickles for her jewelry...ya know a gal's gotta sparkle!!! The circles were cut with Nestabilities, petite scallop. The sentiment is an Art Impressions, again inked with the Adirondack. The circus banner from Purple Onion Designs (I think) was stamped onto acetate with Stazon blazin' red (looks like fuchsia to me). The music score at the bottom is part of a clear acrylic set from Limited Editions...I used VersaMark and embossed with clear ep. The main image is matted onto Basic Greys Sultry paper, fandango and the card base is unknown black linen. I finished it off with the small orange brads.
Don't ya just love my gal's moxie? We should all be so bold!
Thanks for having a look...
