Sorry if you've already seen this one. The photo wasn't great, and I couldn't seem to switch photos w/o starting over.
This one fits three challenges from the past couple of weeks - Mad For Plaid, Just One (word), and Leaf It To Me. I took a leaf from my maple in the front yard and inked it all over with pink and purple stamp pads (last week was the "use pink" challenge week also). I turned the leaf ink side down and used a brayer to make an impression on white c/s, then cut out the leaf shape and adhered it to brown c/s. I highlighted some of the veins with a black pen. The Celebrate sentiment was stamped on a scrap that I trimmed and corner-rounded. I added the pink checked brads before I attached it to pink and brown plaid ribbon. I used the Martha Stewart checkerboard edge punch on 3 of the corners.
