Congrats to WendyBell, this week's FS on SCS. Wendy's DD was one of the first peeps I met on SCS. She showed me how to post my creations! LOL Thanks, Amelia, I often say It's all your fault! LOL. Anyhoo, Wendy's work is exquisite. She has definite talent with coloring, die cuts, and sketchwork. She gives alot of practical tips with her design write-ups too, and a lot of her work is done with scraps which is way kewl! Please visit her gallery this week and don't forget to leave a comment on some of your faves!
I kept Wendy's choice of stampset, base card and matting colors. I changed the size of the card to a 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch square base. I also changed the floral colors to depict a more fall palette *at least these are the colors in my garden right now*, and used amber gem adhesives in the middle of the florals instead of brads. I changed the sentiment location. I added a crown on the bee figure and double stamped the sentiment for a shadow effect. I also added ribbon treatment in the upper left corner.
Have a great week and thanx for looking at my FS submission today!

Super pretty, Christine! Love this pretty flower garden with the buzzing queen bee. I also like that little bit of scallop under your ribbon in the corner.
