One of two cards made for the birthday of twin young women who love black!
What is hard to see is that the ribbon has a sheen and coloured spots. (Thak you Becca for your tutorial on tying bows!)
The little insects are a Kiwistamping image, and are painted with twinkling h2o's - the edge of the white layer was swiped over a red inkpad to blend with the next (shiney) layer. This was then mounted on black and popped on dimensionals onto the card.
The 'dewdrops' have been made with a dimensional glue.
I stamped a Happy Birthday and clear embossed it on the black card, above the bow, which cannot be seen in the photograph, but looks very elegant!

Wow, great job! I can see the ribbon embellishment, too! I just love dragonflies and butterflies, so this is close to my heart. tfs
