Dinner is in the crock pot, got an idea in my head so off to work I went hoping to get done earlier than yesterday. BUT...before I left, I played around with my corner punches and came up with a panel resembling swiss cheese! What goes with cheese?...Mice!...remembered a scene I saw on a calendar years back and the rest is history.....details.....
I pretty much cased this whole scene from the calendar page only I added an extra mouse, sliver of cheese I drew and the holes on the wall paper. All coloring was done with w/c pencils and sponging. Some things were versa marked and clear ep'd.
I made the swiss cheese panel by punching not only the corners, but the sides as well. I just went crazy! I used two different punches, but don't know the names of either. Sorry. After drawing, coloring and what not, I put the main panel over black. Then put that on a white card sponged faded jeans that I doodled the edges on.
That is pretty much it. Oh yeah, this was all done while my DD made me Chiles Rellenos! Yum! Yum!....kitchen is a little smoky! Now she's baking oatmeal chocolate bars! hmmmm I wonder why I started the crock pot! LOL.....anyway....hope you like my card today.......TFL :0)
