This is for the scrapbook variety challenge. We were supposed to paint shapes. I'm not all that good at painting, so I painted a square and used it for my outer frame.
I saw a layout in Canadian Scrapbookers magazine and I love the rough feel of the outer frame, so I decided to paint vellum to make it 'rough' I love the way it curled.
And I got my big shot this week and so I haaaaaad to use it on this layout.

The minute I saw the cirled vellum I wondered how you did it--it almost looked like a digi-page, cuz I couldn't think of how you could get an effect like that with paper. It is VERY cool! I love your page. You really rocked this challenge. I'm working on one also--and it's almost the same color theme!
Your photos are adorable--I had to look twice to find your little sweetie amongst all those other cute faces--both plush and human!
