I saw the tutorial for this when it went up. And today my first set of Nestabilities arrived - the fastest post I've had from the the US for months.
So although this is quite plain and simple, it was a great opportunity to use lots of new things - the ribbon and the October Afternoon stamps were also new.
I embossed the frame as per the tutorial. (Only mine did also emboss through to the back layer of the card. I'd wondered about having the back of the card below the tan mat, but I was having trouble getting it to stay in place. Whoo cares...
I also cut the frame from a scrap of card to use as masks. I masked round the frame and stamped the branch. Then I masked the inside of the frame and used Versamark and chalk pastels for the background. The sentiment was stamped onto paper, punched out and sponged. Because the ribbon is so wide, I used a jumbo brad on the tag before threading the ribbon through.

I think this is just fabulous! Great job with your nesties! Love how that is left white! What a great job you did on this, but, wait, I'm still looking for the stitching!
