This card gave me a real challenge, but the photo was even tougher! I used an old set but changed it's modern look by using the Bella Toile BG stamp, kissing it on the Teapot and Teacup. This gave the tea set a Blue Willow kind of look. I then embossed with clear ep mixed with some Dazzling Diamonds to make it look like porcelain. It doesn't show very well in the photo. I sponged Night of Navy around the edges. I used Night of Navy ink and mounted the pieces on Night of Navy. I used the CB Textiles folder on the steps to give a little more texture. The front step is done in white, sponged with Navy. The sentiment was punched with the wide oval punch and was also sponged in Navy. I cut out flowers and leaves again lending some dimension to the card. Almost forgot, the steam coming out of the cup is stamped in Going Gray with Dazzling Diamonds applied over that.
I appreciate any comments on my first stair step card.

What a beautiful card........I love the colors and how you stamped the teapot and cup to look like the Blue Willow china pattern. One of the best stair step cards I have seen on this site. GREAT JOB!

Ooohh! I just happen to have a teapot stamp that's never been used! And I love this idea. It's great when a card can be created that you know can be displayed without having to be re-set upright time and time again. Your card is beautiful and I'm putting it into my Favorites for CASEing. TFS
