I think I got these at Big Lots in the Cleveland Area. Might be other places too.

I have done the same thing. Got my baskets at Meijer on sale. The holes in mine are inbetween the 2 sizes that you have. I have 4 of them.

I used the basket on the bottom to store my ribbon and then bought thin dowel from Home Depot to run through the box for the ribbon spools to spin on. Then I got wooden wheels used for handmade wooden toy cars to attach to the end of the dowels to hold them in place. It is a great way to store ribbon neatly and for easy access. I appreciate your suggestion. Thanks!
