This card turned out very nicely, I think, but I also think that it will be a little while before I make another like it. It took a lot more time than I expected it to. By the time I was finished, my fingertips were burned and sore, my table was a mess, my husband was fast asleep, and I was ready to tell this card exactly what I thought of it and where it could mail itself!
But I'm feeling much better now! *grin*
The squares are 1 1/8" each, cut out with a paper trimmer. Then each square was covered with 3-4 layers of clear embossing powder to give them a tile-like appearance. I laid them out in a grid-like pattern, tied a sheer gold ribbon around the bottom, and there you have it!

I too have always admired the works of 88 keys and even attempted to case this very card. Your card is beautiful and well worth the sore fingers! The embossed squares are perfect. Nicely done!
