Hello everyone, This is my card for today's Sketch Challenge. I thought about this all day wondering what I was going to put in those little squares, and finally came up with this. My son's Birthday is 2 weeks from Friday and he will be 29 and he is an avid hunter with gun and bow, so I decided to go to one of my favorite guy stamp sets, Yukon, and make him a Birthday Card... Hope you like it..
My base card is Basic Black, I layered a piece of Doodlebug Black Crushed Velvet CS over that. Then I layered 2 pieces of Always Artichoke from the Hostess set over that, the bottom was pretty plain so I stamped the trees from Wide Open Spaces and then masked them off and stamped Flannel Plaid over that, both with Always Artichoke ink. I added Wildcat Ribbon from Offray between the two layers. The little black squares are punched from the Black crushed velvet cs with the SU scallop square punch and the images are stamped with VersaMark on glossy white cs and embossed in brown and then layered over the black. All three are popped up on pop dots. The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy and is stamped with VersaMark and imbossed in black. Added the brown bow, the black jewels and doodled around the edges.. TFL
