I made these cards for my SS in the Color me Happy Round 3. I used Real Red, Glorious Green, and White Paper, a crimper, ribbon, stickles crystal and orange, SU markers, blender pens, scallop circle punch and SU So Many Scallops Stamp Set, Tim Holtz Perfect Pearls mixed with water, a MM distress tool and chip board.
To see the snowman image inside the card you must pull up the thick green ribbon. I made the snowman so that it can be used as a Christmas tag also.
The snowman image is from the Express Image Swap Thread.
The card is very simple to make...cut lengthwise down 4 1/4 fold upward use the SU small window (ribbon punch) at top of card punch through both sides. Use red tape on sides. Crimp at bottom to hold up the card/gift card or whatever you choose to peek-a-boo inside. Place ribbon around the piece that is going to be peek-a-boo and slide it into the card (ribbon will be on the outside front and back so image will be covered). Once image is in card pull ribbon through punched holes. Tie ribbon on top. To use peek-a-boo pull ribbon straight up and the image will slide right up. Then you can slide the card/gift card to the right or left.
