I wanted to be more whimsical for some table place cards this year, but I made this set for a friend of mine.
I altered some 1-1/4" block I got at Hobby Lobby. I had my DH make the slots in them first.

Laurie, these place cards and blocks are so cute for the family at Thanksgiving! You are so creative! You really are. I love the cards (the Turkey is too cute) and the decorated blocks...and that beautiful stitching on the cards!
