This challenge was so easy for me; I have so many scraps and save right down to the inch because you never know when you might want to create some faux brads or punch a leaf in this case.
My card base does happen to be a scrap from a print shop that supplies us for our charity work so itÂ’s mounted on a white cardstock base. To keep the white from showing thru where I paper pierced, I used a marker to color the white.
I keep my less than card front size scrap in file folders and was happy to find the maroon and brown pieces for the card but do I get extra points if the browns are slightly different shadesÂ….LOL!
Thanks for the challenge Kim!
-The images and leaves are colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil.
-I use a ball stylus to add veins to the leaves and color after the veins are added.
-Ink distressing is done all the base and beige confetti panels.
My daughter has wild turkey that come to eat from her bird feeders every day and they look just as goofy as this image and are just as skinny too!

Love this. Another great use of the ball Stylus for the leaves which I keep meaning to try out! The turkey is adorable and the paper piercing is great.
