I am now officially addicted to Tim Holtz Crackle Paint, hee! This is a piece of cardboard, can you believe it? I can't! I just cut an old piece of cardboard into a very primitive frame shape, and painted it with Mustard Seed Crackle Paint...once it crackled a bit, I hit it with the heat gun. Then I stamped the star on a piece of fabric and backed it with more cardboard. Attached the button with a glue dot....used clear epoxy letters backed with old scraps from my stash, and rub-on letters to write "girls". Then when the whole thing was dry, I distressed it by putting Tim Holtz distress inks in Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, and Tea Dye on... either directly ink pad to paper, or smudging with my finger....This challenge was super FUN! I put a magnet on the back, and ouila FRAMED STARS for my fridge...my favorite stars of course, Eva (4) and Claire (2) in this picture from last Christmas!

It is amazing what you did with a plain piece of cardboard! That crackle paint makes this look wonderful! I also love the little touches you added to make your girls shine. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!

Avon Lady, Eva and Claire are just too precious! I'm really glad, though, I have my own photos to look at rather than having to find the girls in a gallery! Precious, precious photo. I can only imagine their delight when Mommy put up something she made that just happens to have her stars' photo inside. How cool is this! So I guess the school is still up. Plus, did you get all those tickets sold or what? Welcome to Catholic education: what you dont sell; you buy! Pretty simple dont you think? Fabulous frame.

Kelly, this is just outstanding. These girls are so beautiful. I am so in awe of how cute they are. So, you know Anne? She is an online friend and is just remarkable isn't she? You,too, are remarkable. Great work on this.

fantastic, Kelly! love the frame and my goodness, your girls are beautiful! They both have that lovely smile of yours. Thanks so much for sharing and being inspired by your girlies!
It seems you and I were on the same page today, I used a pic of my big boyz in a challenge today! I've got the stuff to make another one of youngest son later. He's got the latest (I guess) shutter shades on!
