This is my sample for Kim's (nutsymuhl) mini VSN challenge tonight. Her challenge was to use your scraps to create a card. You could only use one full piece of cardstock for your card base - the rest had to be made of scraps. Well, let me tell you, I have scraps enough for two third world countries!! So, needless to say, this card came pretty easy to me. I just recently purchased these Lockhart Quilt Blocks, and was thrilled for the chance to use one of them. Thanks so much for such a fun challenge, Kim! Thanks for looking!

What is there NOT to say about this card! The ornare is a beautiful accent for this card, great combination of elements and stamp sets, the ribbon is luscious and just a wonderful card all around!

Wow, nice background paper, and the way you layered the quilts pieces is wonderful. I love the way you finished the card with the ribbon and the paper piecing.

I have so much of your work in my favorites folder and now here's another addition. I am so envious of your talent for knowing just how to combine colors and patterns and lay them out.

I love the way you used squares in the background that look like quilt fabrics! Great quilt stamp and I love the way the sentiment goes with it. Great card!
