When it came down to using pink and a leaf image I thought of the beautiful but sometimes hard to grow Tri-Color Beech and these leaves fit perfectly.
-Markers colored the image before stamping the leaves.
-Markers were also used with an artist brush to color the butterfly.
-Ink distressing was done on the image and designer paper panels.
-I cut the butterfly out, edged in black and glued to the card. For the slight bend of the wings I used a ball stylus to crease around the body.
-Scor-Pal and Nestabilities were also used on the card.
-To be sure and have the same pink on the designer paper as the image, I stamped the grid backgrounder image on it in the same ink color

What a gorgeous card! There are so many things I love about it- from the scored BG to the butterfly - the colors - the scallop frame.... it's just awesome!
