I did 3 pages for the IFC10 challenge—Lovely Landscapes. This is the left side of a two-pager of our visit to Lake Placid, N.Y.
In the fall of 2006 while our Aussie friend, Jeff, was visiting from Sydney, we flew to my home state of N.Y., and I gave him and my DH the *grand tour,* including several days in northern N.Y. We arrived in the late afternoon and these are from early the next morning. So invigorating!
The green medallion is a Cuttlebug folder called Fancy Corners. I rubbed my Craft Choc. Chip inkpad across the raised surface, cut into the design around the four points and added the jewel.
I cut my title twice (Cran. Crisp, More Mustard) using my Cuttlebug and Baby Face alphas, then *shadowed* them on top of each other.
I added the veins to all the punched leaves and chalked them with fall colors. I chalked the edges to most of the journaling pieces too.
I live in Phoenix now and have to admit, I do miss the fall colors!
Doing these pages made me feel like it’s fall—even though it’s sunny and in the 90’s here and I’m looking out my window at green trees and cactus!
Thanks for looking!

Awesome title. Love how you got 7 photos on one page - and it doesn't look busy at all. tfs
