What a surprise, I found time to make a card. let's face it ... the real estate business isnt the big cash endeavor it used to be!
Anyway, you're probably wondering who is Issey Miyake. Well, she's my most favorite designer! I generally always make her designer originals found the the Vogue pattern books.
This coat is so much like the one I made that when I saw it on the Rubbernecker site, it became a must have for me! So, if I continue to be a part of a downward spireling real estate venture, I may put together a portfolio of my closet. Maybe I could market my seamstress talents via card making.
Another thing I have to admit, every time I go to make a card, I try my darnedess (sp?) to create something totally unlike what I always create. No luck, ever. I try and I try, but each card looks just like the one before it. If anyone has some suggestions to help me try a different kind of design, please step up to the plate: I'm all for trying to change the way I do things!
Have a great stamping day! TFL

Very classy and what a great stick pin. I always wanted to make an Issey Miyake coat for dressy wear. But instead I made a Vintage Vogue one which is still going strong because I don't wear it that often. If your style is *you*, why try fixing what ceratinly ain't broke. Some challenges push me out of my normal, but I think most of us have our own personal style and nothing wrong with that.

Oh Anne, you're too cute! I have the same problem, I feel like I always use the same layout on my cards, they just feel comfortable! I love this stamp, I have it and haven't played with it yet, I just love how fashionable she is. A fabulous card, your ribbon treatment is gorgeous!

Fabulous! I love the ribbon & pin next to the image...it's just the right embellishment. And I love your style - I wouldn't try to change a thing if I were you!

This is wonderful. I don't think your cards all look the same. I think your unique style shines through, but each of your creations stands out on its own to me! All of them beautiful I might add. Great job Anne!
As soon as I saw this card I thought, now this looks like what I picture Anne to be - very fashionable! And then, lo and behold I read that you actually made and wear a coat just like this lovely lady!!! You are full of talents! This card is so beautiful!! Love all the elegant pin on your card! TFS

Aw, come on now! Since when did all of your creations look the same? AND you're an accomplished seamstress, too? GOOD GRIEF, Anne! Is there anything you cannot do? This design, as all of your others, is awesome. What great talent you have for card design! I can only imagine what your closet must be like!!!! Probably to die for! I think you would have no problem as a design artist somewhere should the real estate market not rebound. Keep at it, girl!

OMGosh! This is just fabulous! DO NOT change a single thing you're doing! Your cards are awesome - so unique and creative! And now we know you are a talented seamstress, too! You'd have to be to make a coat like this one! Anyway, about the card - super chic image, colored beautifully and great details to go with it! Love it!
