Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip....Whoa!
I have a confession....We have 6 cats....And, before I start stamping, I round them all up, and sequester them in my bedroom...Oh...minus Speedy the Cat...He's my child! Okay...not REALLY, but he thinks he's Markie's little brother! And, locking children in bedrooms is a REAL no-no!!!LOL!
While I was trying to figure out what I was going to do for this challenge, Speedy the Cat jumped up to my stampin' table and knocked this deer off! I leaned over and put it AWAY, in it's case, and went back to looking for an appropiate FLOWER stamp for today....
Speedy the cat was not happy...He knocked the CASE to the floor!
I took the hint! Hence, the PINK PIROUETTE DEER!!!
The deer was stamped on Watercolor paper and colored in with re-inker and an aqua painter. I cut out the image.
I stamped the image again onto Whisper White and cut it with Nestibilities. I sponged the edge with Pink Pirouette and then Chocolate Chip. I ran the White backgrounds through a Cuttlebug Embossing folder.
The LEAVES were punched from Kiwi Kiss and sponged, HEAVILY with Kiwi Kiss.
The image was stamped in Burnt Umber Palette Hybrid ink. It is Chocolate Chip colored! The ribbon and mat are Chocolate. The Prima was cream. I sponged it with Chocolate Chip!
