Love the technique today. The only problem with it is trying to photograph it so the shinny shows, which mine doesn't...oh well. Great wonderful cause for making these cards today!
Speaking of mammograms, I was getting one when my worst nightmare came true. It was being done on the new digital machine. The nurse had me all squeezed between the plates as she had her head down looking at the computer screen. She kept telling me I could step back, but she didn't look up to see that the machine didn't release! I was still being squished! Being the nice person I am I didn't scream or anything. I just calmly said I can't step back. Finally she looked up and realized that the machine settings had been changed to manual! She overly apologized. So.......to this very day I have one perky and one flat breast!!! LOL..........not really, they are just both flat. Now on to the card.....................
I had an extra image from my sister of this "young" lady, so I colored her with w/c pencils and blended with the pink H2O's. I put the little puppy in her purse cause she is so Paris Hilton looking don't you think?
Drew the little scene on a white cs panel, used Kittie Kits, which I am loving! sponged the clouds, grass, bushes, vines, and leaves. Computered the sentiment and building tag. Popped up the lady.
So, to all the ladies on SCS I ask you, "Have you had your mammogram lately? If not, what are you waiting for? If I can survive the big squeeze.....so can you!"......TFL :0)

Awesome card! I love the wonderful scene you created with all its amazing details, but more importantly the message you delivered! I can say I am totally on schedule for the once yearly squeeze! Not fun, but far better than the alternative! TFS!

This is soooo funny Cathy. Or is it Nutmeg. LOL. I just cracked up. My hubby said what's so funny. I said you totally would not understand. This is the only time of the year it is good to be small and flat. Hehehe. Love this scene. I am sure you drew it as usual. Love it. TFS
