Are you running to get your sunglasses or are you calling the Glitter Police on me? I don't think I have ever used this much glitter on one card, ever. I was working on this card last night in the midnight hour--- so we'll go with that excuse. This is for the Ways to Use it Challenge, WT188, which was to use plaid on your card. OK here's how it came together... I airbrushed the background, then colored with Copics. I added glitter glue on the hat, dress and cape, then added some teensy crystals for even more bling - Fuji Crystals from TCP. The sentiment I embossed with a Brass Pearl EP on green paper, then I used a marker and colored it black, wiping away the marker from the embossed letters using a Kleenex. Then I coated that with glitter glue and a layer of crystal lacquer too. The stars and edge of the stamped panel I edged with the chisel end of my black Copic, then repeated --glitter glue and then crystal lacquer. I like the Crystal Lacquer over the glitter because it gives it a glassy look and also gives depth to the glitter and sparkles. Somehow I had the perfect glitzy purple ribbon to add, purple is my least fav color and I have no idea why I would have bought this. I threw on some dew drops at the end, because well it just needed MORE! lol.

Bewitched GLITTER-ati! No police. Plenty of admiration. Can't imagine this wonderful card with anything but plaid, glitter and the marvelous way the ribbon seems to flow from the Halloween tag. Definitely a card worthy of the label: Gropp original!
