Maybe I should have tried to catch up with Teapot #15. I really thought I could get this one to work with today's sketch, and I spent a long time ending up with nothing to show for it. So I was determined to get a result! I stamped the flower from Embrace Life onto blue card with white ink and embossed it with white EP. I stamped an Autumn Leaves Rhonna Farrer flourish with ColorBox Chalk Blue Iris. I trimmed the card down to size, punched the corners with a Fiskars Lace punch and drew in lines with a blue marker. I also stamped Hello in the bottom corner, and added a ribbon. That's about it - the flower is up on a dimensional.

Sabrina, this is stunning. I love the punched out areas in the corners. The lines and the ribbon and the dimesion of the flower make for a very simple and elegant card.

You are a good line drawer!!! This is so pretty! I love the gorgeous blue flower against the stark white! I know what you mean about struggling trying to work with a specific sketch when all your cards wants to do is take control of itself! Usually it does! Snort!
Its truly wonderful, very striking and eye catching!

Girl, you better knock it off over there! This is a fabulously crafted card that just happens to be so warm and elegant. I think you need to get your glasses cleaned....I mean, you've over there talking about how you have nothing to show for all your work, and I'm over here adding this to my favorites! Now what's wrong with this picture?
