Made this Caterpillar to Butterfly Graduation Card for our dd who graduated from our homeschool this year by concurrently doing her college freshman year. Outer card is also shown in my gallery.
I received Inga the Inchworm as part of the SCS PIF Image Swap, from triasimite. Thank you, Bev! I colored Inga with colored pencils, and added a little ink with my Pigma Micron pens to simulate the coloring of a monarch butterfly caterpillar.
I received the butterfly stamp (3 images) from Ginna S., my swapping hostess and buddy, who said it came from the Dollar Store. Great, useful gift, thank you! I colored it with Twinkling H2Os and went over it again with my Pigma Micron pen. Then I added the white spots on the wings with a white gel pen.
Hand-lettered the sentiment.
The "acetate" is actually plastic repurposed from a container of dh's boxer shorts!
