This two-pager is for PeggyÂ’s Bizarre and Unique Holidays Challenge: (Forums at Splitcoaststampers) There were 3 holidays that I had ideas for, but I decided to use *Curious Events Day*, because one day my DGD and I did two separate things that were interesting and curious to her! My layout was inspired by Sally's sketch challenge SBSC107: SBSC107 by Salster at Splitcoaststampers
*One day when I was at the Dollar Store, I came across some “Magic Grow Sea Animals.” I thought to myself, “This looks like something Mady would enjoy.” So, I bought a package and put it away for the next time you came over.
When that day arrived, you were really excited, seeing the package with the little capsules, so we decided to try them out right away. We started out trying just one. The directions said all we had to do was put the little capsule in a glass of water and wait until it “grew.” Well, it took a lo-o-o-n-n-n-g time for it to come out of its capsule and grow! So, while we waited, you asked me what the little blue bumblebee that sits in the dirt of one of my plants was for. Since it happened to be windy that day, we went outside to see what a pinwheel does.
It really wasnÂ’t too easy to get cute Mr. BumblebeeÂ’s pinwheel to spin around (it was kind of stiff), but you had fun trying (and it did work a little), and the best part was that when we came back inside, our first little animal was out and grown!! It was a little dolphin made of foam, and in GrandmaÂ’s eyes, not all that magical looking, but you were thrilled and ready to do more. So, we grew every single one of those magical sea animals that day!
I love doing little projects with you! Love Grandma*

Very pretty. I like the swirly borders and the colorful title. I can see how it would take a while to finish, but it works well with the colors on your page.
