I browsed the tutorial for the Split Negative Technique the other day, and when I read the description for the World Card Making Day Limited Supplies Challenge, I knew that was the way I wanted to go with it. The heart of this challenge was to make a card without using any patterned paper or pastels.
My personal challenge was to use an In Color and a regular SU! color.
I used my SAMJ in several ways on these cards: to line up the tree images (black and white), to stick them together (just the t-square part), and for the sentiment, to make sure it wouldn't be covered and was straight.
I'd love to hear your preference--with the big bow or without (this one). I've uploaded both images.
