Not sure if this is a sunrise or sunset, but I managed to do FOUR of the WCMD challenges on this one!
WCMDSC08--sketch challenge
WCMDIC08--the Cold Water Creek Catalog, I wrote down the colors and how the writing was in white, so I incorporated that into my card
WCMDWT08--I used trees!
WCMDLSC--no pastels or patterned paper, the Ruby Red strips are stamped over and over with the big leaf stamp from this set
I'm still in love with my Sanded background, it's so wonderful I like the rich colors on this. For the main image, I stamped the trees in Chocolate Chip ink on a scrap of Whisper White paper, then used sponge daubers to apply the sunrise/sunset colors. The mats are kinda funky, huh? I've got a zillion scraps of Chocolate Chip cardstock, but they're all pretty narrow, so rather than cut into a new piece I just went with it. Found a narrow scrap of Old Olive for the top part and voila, a different kind of treatment for matting.

This is really pretty. I love the strips stamped, and after you pointed out the matting, I like it too!
