I made this card for the World Card Making Day challenges. This card is for the Ways to Use it challenge. We were to create a card using a tree image.
I used my 'Love As a Tree' stamp set. I stamped my image with black stazon ink on white glossy paper. Then I colored on some white crayon to give the appearance of some snow. Next, I used my brayer for the blue background. I do not have a blue spectrum ink pad so I first inked my brayer in Bashful Blue, then in Brocade Blue, and finally in Night of Navy. It seemed to work as my colors blended pretty well.
I used my organdy ribbon and silver cording for an embellishment. I embossed my greeting with winter white embossing powder to make it stand out a bit more.
Thanks for looking!

that's a very creative card! I just love everything you did with it. Especially the little bit of silver thread added to the organza at the top; it just echos the lightness of the snow and all.

Beautiful! Great choice of colors and your brayered sky is fabulously done!
