This is for WCMDIC08 and our inspiration piece was a set of three beautiful fall leaves laying on a bed of brown pinecones. I live in Florida and we don't get to experience any fall colors. When the time comes for the leaves to fall off the trees usually after a cold snap in Jan and Feb they just turn brown and fall off. No beautiful in between colors ranging from gold, orange or rust. I wanted to try an capture the fall leaves along with some pumpkin patches as well as pull out my beloved Loads of Love truck. I haven't played with it for quite a while.
I stamped the truck on individual watercolor paper with craft ink so I could emboss, color and cut out to pop up over the scene. I stamped the truck again on the main card layer so I could have the wheels showing under the popped up card. I masked off the truck and sponged on the caramel road and olive ground areas. I stamped the large tree using my Kittie Kits Outdoor Master and created all the multi colored leaves with that same set. The tree and car were watercolored with reinkers. The sky was done with brocade blue as I just love the combination of rust, mustard, green and brocade.
Oh....and in case you are wondering about my strange ribbon place...I had a problem with the pile of pumpkins in that area and thought it best to cover them up a little. Never give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thrilled to see your beloved truck in this gallery. I don't know if I recall ever seeing a 'fall' Kittie tree but I have now and it is as beautiful as the real thing here in Canada. Pop on over and have a peek!! And that beautiful brocade sky is the most perfect blue for a fall sky. I love your wonderful colors and your perfectly placed 'never give up' ribbon.

I knew it! I saw the thumbnail for this card and I didn't look at who made it, but I thought, this has to be a Kittie card. Then I clicked on it and sure enough, I was right. A scene card this gorgeous had to be created by you Kittie. Gorgeous!
