The original for this card was featured in a magazine Beautiful Cards Issue 16 - Artist Tina Watt, and like yourselves I just loved it.
Use a full A4 card score into 4 equal sections and hand draw the candles, however having now made one card I have a template and will upload that for anyone that is interested. Use Decorative Papers to cover thecandles, colour the flames with Tombow markers, and stamp a greeting on the largest candle - which you can't see in the photo. Finally trace around the edges with a fine tip marker.
Total finished size of card is 7.5 cms x 21cms or for all you Americans 3" x 81/4".
Hope this helps and once again - thank you all so very much for your comments.
Template is in my gallery.
