I made this card for the September Wish-RAK Challenge - Category #3 - Sketch It. We were to make a card using Sketch Challenge 66. My Wish-RAK item is the scarecrow image from rook3034.
I colored the scarecrow with various SU markers and then cut out a mask of him so I could sponge in the sky (notice my clouds) and grass. I thought about drawing in some corn husks and even pulled out the encyclopedia so I could see a good picture of one to sketch, but my drawing skills are seriously lacking. I really felt my scarecrow needed something, and I thought this particular flourish by Inkadinkado sort of looked like corn. What do you think?
Finally, I rarely put together a card without a sentiment, so I grabbed my Karen Foster Snap Stamps and stamped HAPPY FALL at the scarecrow's feet. He's layered on Ruby Red cs that was stamped with the Aida Cloth background stamp in Ruby Red. I used my Horizontal Slot Punch to put in a slot at the top of the card so I could thread my ribbono through for the knot. (I punched it one and a half times since the ribbon is wider than the punch.)
I really like the way this card turned out and hope you like it, too. TFL - Regina

I think the flourishes make perfect corn stalks. I wondered what it was before I read your narrative. Love the sponged sky with the clouds too. Great job.
