This card was inspired by my new and dear friend Peggy. The sentiment ...Friends are God's way of taking care of us...seemed so fitting! The background flourish was stamped on to the blue card in black, the butterflies are stamped in blue ink and then wet and dry chalked to bring out the detail in their wings. I added blue gems (nail bling) to the large butterfly to try and emphasize its beauty, then mounted in on 3D tape. The border is embossed with Textured Textiles on the CB and then torn and inked with blue ink. I added knotted blue chiffon ribbon to the lower edge and finished it off with photo corners made from on old piece of wallpaper that I have had put aside...just incase I would use it one day. I wanted the overall effect to be simple, elegant and soft...I am hoping I have achieved this!!! Oh one and more thing...Peggy...it's on it's way to you!!! Thanks for looking!!

Oh my! Am I ever touched. Blue, butterfly, baroque motifs....must I go on! All time favorites of mine. You are a sweetheart indeed Linda. Thanks for making such a beautiful card for me. Now, I'm all excited to see when it will flutter over in my mailbox. LOL
You make the most awesome cards and elegance is what came to mind when just seeing this. Did you kow that blue is a trusting color.
