Thanks for a great challenge....have never tried any of the batik methods before! Next time I will add more ink for a bold look, however, I needed a soft birthday card to mail tomorrow, so only a few drops of Old Olive and Not Quite Navy were used. After finishing the technique, I sponged the outside edges for a little more definition, used a small circle punch on the corners (ticket corner punch would have been too big for my sentiment tag), paper pierced, and added dimensionals and ribbon. Pretty simple....will definitely try this technique again! Thanks so much for looking!

oh my this is outstanding. I love the soft and muted colors with the wonderful images form petal prints. And your paper piercing adds the finishing touch.
