I just had to try today's TLC - Colorwash Batik - what a fun challenge Lynn!! I thought it might work with some multi-step stamps so I tried using my 3 Step Butterflies from Kitchen Sink Stamps!!
I only used step 2 & 3 and did them backwards. Step 3 first in versamark & clear ep, then spritzed on So Saffron colored water. Ironed the image to get the ep off, re-embossed using Step 2, the spritzed on Cranberry Crisp colored water and ironed off the ep. I think it came out pretty neat - wish I had more re-inker colors to try more!! TFL!

Great result. If I had more time I was thinking to try something like this, because when I did real batik there were often 3 different waxings and 3 different dyeings. Love the little stitching detail.
