I chose a 5.5 square black card base. I used Basic Grey Lily Kate dp. I love the bottom piece of dp as I think it mimics the carpet in the inspiration picture. For my main image I wanted to incorporate the black leafy image with the quilt texture. I decided to cuttlebug a white piece, then use acetate to run the leafy folder through. I colored the back of the image with permanent black bic marker. I would love to find a permanent marker that truly looks black when it is dried. I loved this look so well, that I used minimal embellishments to finish the card.
For my Cuttlebug reverse acetate coloring idea, I found this card in the gallery over the summer that I favorited by Karen Wallace....hers is gorgeous!!!!

Wow! Betty this is so elegant!! I love the leaves...I thought it was embossing....aren't you creative to do it with acetate and a marker! The black and white with the green is absolutely stunning!!! TFS!
